Gemini decan 3: the decan lords of both systems
Tropical zodiac, Western astrology
Gemini decan 3 · ราศีเมถุน เดแคนที่ 3
Chaldean decans
Gemini decan 3 covers 20°00′–29°59′ of Gemini, the last ten degrees before Cancer. In the Chaldean system each ten-degree slice has a lord called the face, and here it is the Sun.
The Sun as face lord gives the last stretch of Gemini a clearer self behind its many interests. Variety stays, but a thread of identity runs through it: you become known for a way of explaining, a voice, a particular kind of question. Attention likes an audience and likes to be useful at the same time, so teaching, writing and presenting come easily. The pull toward being liked can trim the sharper things you would otherwise say.
A planet here tends to emphasise a recognisable voice and what it wants to be known for saying. In practice, people remember you for one explanation or one phrase, and you notice that you now repeat it on purpose because it has become yours.

Triplicity decans
Gemini decan 3 covers 20°00′–29°59′ of Gemini, the last ten degrees before Cancer. In the triplicity system its sub-sign is Aquarius, and its lord is Saturn, the traditional ruler of Aquarius.
Gemini coloured by Aquarius pulls the curiosity of the sign toward ideas, systems and groups. Thinking is original, detached and likes to be tested against facts. Friends are chosen for their minds, and a good argument is a form of closeness. Feelings are discussed more easily than felt, and structure is accepted when it has a logic you can follow. Reasoning gets more serious here than in the other two parts of Gemini.
A planet here tends to emphasise original, objective thinking. In practice, you ask why a rule exists, collect evidence before you take a side, and prefer a friend who disagrees well to one who simply agrees.

Note
The two systems count in different ways, so their results can differ; they do not contradict each other.
