Pisces decan 2: the decan lords of both systems
Tropical zodiac, Western astrology
Pisces decan 2 · ราศีมีน เดแคนที่ 2
Chaldean decans
Pisces decan 2 covers 10°00′–19°59′ of Pisces, the middle ten degrees. In the Chaldean system each ten-degree slice has a lord called the face, and here it is Jupiter.
Jupiter is the traditional ruler of Pisces and also the face lord, which makes the middle of the sign Pisces at its most generous and faithful. Compassion, imagination and belief reinforce each other. Helping, listening and inspiring come easily, and a room tends to relax when you arrive. The usual cost is overextending: saying yes to more than can be done, and giving time and attention that you later wish you had kept.
A planet here tends to emphasise faith and generosity. In practice, you listen to a friend for two hours, offer to help with the move as well, and then realise you have nothing left for yourself.

Triplicity decans
Pisces decan 2 covers 10°00′–19°59′ of Pisces, the middle ten degrees. In the triplicity system its sub-sign is Cancer, and its lord is the Moon, the traditional ruler of Cancer.
Pisces coloured by Cancer gives the sensitivity of the sign a home. Care is given through nurture, food and presence; memory and dreaming are linked. Moods follow the people around, and safe surroundings matter more than usual. Where plain Pisces drifts, this part wants to return: a favourite room, a familiar song, a person whose company calms things down. It is the most domestic of the three parts of Pisces.
A planet here tends to emphasise nurturing and receptivity. In practice, you cook for someone who has had a hard week, keep a favourite blanket or song within reach, and go back to the place where you felt safe.

Note
The two systems count in different ways, so their results can differ; they do not contradict each other.
