Planets in signs and houses
Mercury in the 12th House
Tropical zodiac, Western astrology
Mercury in the 12th house sends your mind to work beneath the surface. You carry deep thoughts you do not always voice, rely on intuition and mental images more than pure logic, and may stumble over words when asked for an opinion in public. Writing, poetry, journaling or meditation help your thoughts come clear. Watch for worries circling in your head at night. Telling a trusted person what you are thinking can lift a great weight from your mind.
Mercury in a birth chart
Mercury is the planet of mind and message. It describes how you gather information, think things through, speak and write, and how you learn. In myth it is the messenger who moves between worlds, and in a chart it shows how you connect ideas and people.
