Planets in signs and houses
The Sun in the 12th House
Tropical zodiac, Western astrology
The Sun in the 12th house makes your light glow inward more than outward. You may seem reserved or modest, yet inside lies a deep, imaginative world. Time alone, meditation, art or behind-the-scenes work recharge you well. Many people with this placement understand other people's suffering almost instinctively. The risk is hiding yourself or doubting your own power. When you let yourself rest and dare to reveal your true side bit by bit, your confidence slowly becomes clearer.
The Sun in a birth chart
The Sun is the centre of the chart, just as it is the centre of the solar system. It represents your core identity: who you are becoming, what gives you vitality, and where you want to shine. Think of it as the conscious sense of "this is me".
