Planets in signs and houses
The Sun in the 2nd House
Tropical zodiac, Western astrology
The Sun in the 2nd house ties your pride to what you can build: income, skills and the things you truly value. You feel secure when you can earn your own living and stand on your own feet, so you tend to work patiently and save bit by bit. The lesson is to separate your worth from the number in your account, because when income wobbles, confidence can wobble with it. Once you know what is genuinely valuable to you, your money decisions become calmer and more clearly your own.
The Sun in a birth chart
The Sun is the centre of the chart, just as it is the centre of the solar system. It represents your core identity: who you are becoming, what gives you vitality, and where you want to shine. Think of it as the conscious sense of "this is me".
