The Ascendant and Midheaven in the 12 signs
Ascendant in Capricorn
Tropical zodiac, Western astrology
People see you as serious, composed and dependable. You often look older than your years and keep a careful manner. You approach life by planning and aiming at goals, working hard to build something secure, though at first you may seem distant or cool, while inside you are warm with a dry sense of humour. Let people see your relaxed side now and then. Your reliability will reach hearts more easily.
The Four Angles
The angles are the four most sensitive points of a chart. They come from your exact birth time and place, which is why a chart without a birth time cannot show them. They are drawn as the cross that divides the wheel.
Capricorn at a glance
- Element
- Earth
- Modality
- Cardinal
Capricorn is cardinal earth, ruled by Saturn, the planet of time, structure and consequence. A Sun here tends to see life as something built step by step. You take responsibility early, think about the long term and respect what has been tested by time. Your manner may seem reserved or dry, yet beneath it sits a strong inner drive to make something solid and meaningful.
