Planets in signs and houses
Mars in Pisces
Tropical zodiac, Western astrology
Your energy flows softly like a current. You act on instinct and compassion, often for others or for artistic and spiritual inspiration. The problem is that drive comes and goes, confrontation is avoided and anger tends to come out indirectly. Set small, clear goals and use dance, swimming or yoga to give the energy a shape. Your dreams can then turn into action that really happens.
Mars in a birth chart
Mars is the planet of energy and action. It describes how you assert yourself, go after what you want, compete, defend your boundaries and express anger. It is your drive, and it shows whether you tend to charge ahead, hold back or wait for the right moment.
Pisces at a glance
- Element
- Water
- Modality
- Mutable
Pisces is mutable water. Jupiter is its traditional ruler and Neptune its modern one, and together they point to the boundless and the unseen. A Sun here makes you porous: you take in moods, music, images and other people's pain almost as if they were your own. You tend to live partly in imagination, where meaning is felt rather than argued. You adapt like water to whatever vessel you are in, and your sense of the mystery behind things is real.
