Planets in signs and houses
The Sun in Gemini
Tropical zodiac, Western astrology
A curious mind sits at the heart of who you are. You feel vital when you are learning, talking, linking ideas and switching viewpoints. You adapt quickly and can speak in many registers, but scattered interests may leave several projects half-finished at once. Pick two or three subjects to explore in depth, then use your agility as a bridge that connects people and knowledge to each other.
The Sun in a birth chart
The Sun is the centre of the chart, just as it is the centre of the solar system. It represents your core identity: who you are becoming, what gives you vitality, and where you want to shine. Think of it as the conscious sense of "this is me".
Gemini at a glance
- Element
- Air
- Modality
- Mutable
Gemini is mutable air, ruled by Mercury, the planet of messages and exchange. With your Sun here, the world is first of all something to ask questions of. You collect information, connect unrelated ideas and move easily between circles, topics and moods. Your mind tends to run on two or three tracks at once, which makes you quick and entertaining and occasionally restless. Learning, to you, is a form of play.
