Planets in signs and houses
Mars in Gemini
Tropical zodiac, Western astrology
Your energy runs through thought, speech and several kinds of movement at once. You are good at debate, quick problem-solving and juggling tasks. Your conflicts tend to be about words. The challenge is scatter: starting many things without finishing, and turning sarcastic when annoyed. Divide your energy into short rounds focused on one thing, and choose words that solve the problem rather than win the argument.
Mars in a birth chart
Mars is the planet of energy and action. It describes how you assert yourself, go after what you want, compete, defend your boundaries and express anger. It is your drive, and it shows whether you tend to charge ahead, hold back or wait for the right moment.
Gemini at a glance
- Element
- Air
- Modality
- Mutable
Gemini is mutable air, ruled by Mercury, the planet of messages and exchange. With your Sun here, the world is first of all something to ask questions of. You collect information, connect unrelated ideas and move easily between circles, topics and moods. Your mind tends to run on two or three tracks at once, which makes you quick and entertaining and occasionally restless. Learning, to you, is a form of play.
