Planets in signs and houses
Uranus in Gemini
Tropical zodiac, Western astrology
Your generation thinks fast, revolutionises communication and welcomes new information technology. In you, the mind has sudden inspiration, unconventional ideas and learning that does not follow the textbook. The challenge is restlessness and thinking about too many things at once until you are worn out. Give your mind time to rest and note down the standout ideas. Your out-of-the-box thinking will then produce results.
Uranus in a birth chart
Uranus is the planet of change, freedom and originality. It describes where you break away from convention, where you feel different from others, and where sudden insights or surprises arrive. It is the part of you that says "there must be another way".
Gemini at a glance
- Element
- Air
- Modality
- Mutable
Gemini is mutable air, ruled by Mercury, the planet of messages and exchange. With your Sun here, the world is first of all something to ask questions of. You collect information, connect unrelated ideas and move easily between circles, topics and moods. Your mind tends to run on two or three tracks at once, which makes you quick and entertaining and occasionally restless. Learning, to you, is a form of play.
