Planets in signs and houses
Neptune in Aquarius
Tropical zodiac, Western astrology
In this era humanity's shared dream tied itself to technology, networks and a connected society. In you, humanitarian ideals and an understanding of group power are inspiring. The risk is escaping into a digital world or into ideas far from close-at-hand feeling. Link your wide vision to compassion for those near you. Your dream for the collective will then have a heart.
Neptune in a birth chart
Neptune is the planet of imagination, compassion and the dissolving of boundaries. It describes where you dream, where you sense more than you can explain, and where you long for something beyond the ordinary. It brings inspiration and idealism, but it can also blur the line between vision and illusion.
Aquarius at a glance
- Element
- Air
- Modality
- Fixed
Aquarius is fixed air. Its traditional ruler is Saturn and its modern ruler Uranus, a blend of principle and surprise. With the Sun here, you stand a little apart in order to see the whole, and you tend to think in systems, futures and shared causes. Your ideas can be original, and your loyalty to your own convictions is firm. You are friendly yet unwilling to be pinned down, a person who belongs to groups on your own terms.
