Planets in signs and houses
Mars in Libra
Tropical zodiac, Western astrology
You act through cooperation and often dislike open confrontation. You can fight for fairness and negotiate until everyone is satisfied, but your drive may stall when you must take a side or wait for agreement. Anger is hidden beneath politeness, then comes out sharply. Practise asserting your wishes promptly and plainly in a courteous manner, and you will act more decisively.
Mars in a birth chart
Mars is the planet of energy and action. It describes how you assert yourself, go after what you want, compete, defend your boundaries and express anger. It is your drive, and it shows whether you tend to charge ahead, hold back or wait for the right moment.
Libra at a glance
- Element
- Air
- Modality
- Cardinal
Libra is cardinal air, ruled by Venus, and with the Sun here you understand yourself best in relation to others. You are drawn to fairness, grace and the search for the point where two sides can meet. You weigh, compare and look for what is elegant, both in ideas and in surroundings. Your instinct is to start things through connection: you ask who is involved and how everyone will be affected before you move.
