What is Mars retrograde?
A retrograde planet looks as if it is moving backward through the zodiac. It is an optical effect. All planets keep moving forward, but when Earth overtakes or is overtaken by another planet, that planet seems, for a while, to slide back against the stars. Think of passing a slower car on a motorway: for a moment it appears to drift backward. Thai astrology calls this พักร.
Mars retrograde in astrology
A Mars retrograde slows your drive and turns it inward. Energy may feel blocked, frustration can build, plans may stall, and you might need to redo something you thought was finished. Use it to rethink your strategy, build stamina and look at how you handle anger and ambition.
