What is Saturn retrograde?
A retrograde planet looks as if it is moving backward through the zodiac. It is an optical effect. All planets keep moving forward, but when Earth overtakes or is overtaken by another planet, that planet seems, for a while, to slide back against the stars. Think of passing a slower car on a motorway: for a moment it appears to drift backward. Thai astrology calls this พักร.
Saturn retrograde in astrology
A Saturn retrograde is a period of inspecting your structures. Responsibilities feel heavier and slower, and you are asked to check foundations: commitments, boundaries, habits and long-term plans. It is a time to repair, not to rush. Take honest stock of what is working, shore up the weak spots and take ownership of your choices, so that whatever you build next stands firmly.
